I once checked into a hotel for a tax conference and upon learning my name, the receptionist asked, "Why would your parents give you such an old boring name?" As it goes, I thought later that I should have said that the name matches my old boring job! While I may have a name that would make you think I have crow's feet, I actually enjoy tax and accounting and all that is untidily folded into our yearly filings.
I have enjoyed untangling messes brought to me by clients and bosses alike over the years. As overwhelming and formidable as some of these projects have been, the anxiety at the outset is nothing compared to the joy of solving the problem and completing the task. Even the joy of completion pales in comparison to a satisfied customer who can finally see a light at the end of a lengthy and scary IRS tunnel.
I love helping others deconstruct their taxes and see how their everyday decisions can turn into lifelong financial success, as well as more restful nights! I love finding a client who has been just another stepping stone in other accountants' quest to hoard clients and showing them a personable experience where their questions can be answered and their anxieties overcome. Tax and business development has been my passion ever since I became a CPA, and I'm so excited to be able to provide these services to all of you!
Over the years, I have developed skills to help companies find areas of financial improvement and implement plans and processes to find financial success. As a previous auditor, and with a lot of mentoring, I have learned to see the relationships in the numbers that are the result of real-world decisions. With my responsive skills, I have been able to help companies see up to a 250% increase in the bottom line in less than a year. As I continue to work cohesively with my clients I have no doubts that I can improve your business while taking a large weight from your shoulders.
